XM and Terra Levea are the brand names under which Domaine Karanika is marketing its wines. XM stands for Xinomavro, the most versatile, charismatic and compelling of all grapes in the mediterranean. Also XM stands for Xtra quality and the X-factor: respect for local tradition combined with state of art viticultural and oenological technology. Terra Levea means land (terroir) of Lebaia, the ancient village where Domaine Karanika is situated.

XM rose 2008 is an intense coloured dry rose wine. It is fermented in stainless steel tanks and bottled after racking and fining. This rose is medium-bodied, dark coloured, almost purple, with intense aromas of roses, raspberries, dried tomatoes. It has crisp acidity and has a long and pleasant finish. Terra Levea Unfiltered 2007 is the unfiltered flagship of Domaine Karanika. A blend from Xinomavro, Merlot and Syrah. It has dark purple colour, strong fruity nose of red berries, strawberries, sundried tomatoes, and wood tones like vanilla and toast. Terra Levea rose Cabernet/ xinomavro 2010. This dry rosé wine is a blend from predominantly Xinomavro, the historic grape from Macedonia with a dash of Cabernet. Terra Levea rosé has crisp acidity due to the elevated vineyards of the Amyndeon appellation of origin (600 – 700m altitude). This rosé is a dry and highly aromatic wine with pronounced aromas of strawberries, raspberries and cherries and the scent of wild roses. It is a medium bodied wine with a very long and pleasant finish.
